VeRelief Prime Mode 1: The Anxiety and Nausea Protocols

Using VeRelief Prime for Anxiety and Nausea

VeRelief Prime is a high-powered auricular vagus nerve stimulator with 5 modes of operation. Each mode has a specific intended use. This article will describe the main use cases of Mode 1 for Anxiety and Nausea

Mode 1: Anxiety

Mode 1 is designed to help people calm down when they are feeling anxious in any situation, and can even be used to reduce feelings of nausea.

It uses an 8Hz frequency waveform that runs constantly. This frequency has been demonstrated in some studies to be effective for vagus nerve stimulation in high-anxious individuals. It can also be used to stimulate the median nerve in the wrist to reduce feelings of nausea.

To reduce feelings of anxiousness, simply turn the intensity up as high as you can comfortably tolerate and apply it to the auricular vagus nerve on the side of the neck. Make sure you feel the proper "buzzing" sensation going up in your ear. It should be turned up as high as you can comfortably tolerate. Hold it there for 5 minutes.

Then, apply it on the other side of the neck and hold it in place for another 5 minutes.

Then, remove the device, replace the cap, and sit back and be mindful of how your mind and body feel. If you still feel anxious, consider trying the panic relief protocol in Mode 5 to get stronger calming effects by syncing your breathing with the stimulation. It is also important to note that your body may not be used to vagus nerve stimulation and you may need several sessions before you finally notice any calming effects.

Mode 1: Nausea

For this protocol, you will stimulate the median nerve found in the wrist on both of your wrists. First, make sure the device is set to Mode 1. Then turn up the intensity to the 4th LED light. The wrist is much less sensitive than the neck, so it requires more power to feel the stimulation.

Apply the device in an orientation where the gel tips are aligned parallel to the wrist. Press the gel tips against the wrist and move it around slightly until you feel a "buzzing" sensation going up into your hand and up into your fingers.

Once you find the "buzzing" sensation, adjust the intensity to a level that is as high as you can comfortably tolerate. Then hold it in place for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, switch to the other other side and hold it against your wrist for another 5 minutes.

After a full 10-minute treatment, you should notice any feelings of nauseousness subside. If you don't feel better after use, wait for another hours or so before trying again.
