Troubleshooting: Battery Not Holding a Charge on Your VeRelief Device

If your VeRelief device is not holding a charge or appears to have battery issues, follow this guide to troubleshoot the problem and determine the next steps.

1. Verify the Device is Dead

A dead battery is indicated by the following behaviors:

  • When you remove the cap (turning the device on), only the first LED blinks.
  • You cannot adjust the intensity or mode.
  • The device does not produce any stimulation.

If these symptoms match what you’re experiencing, your device may have a battery issue.

2. Monitor Battery Performance

If the device turns on but seems to lose charge quickly:

  • Charge the Device Fully: Plug it in and confirm the charging lights progress from left to right. Allow it to charge until the lights indicate a full battery.
  • Test Usage Duration: Use the device as normal and monitor the battery lifespan after a full charge.
    • Devices experiencing battery degradation will show a gradual decrease in usage time over multiple charges.

3. Record the Issue

To help our support team diagnose the problem, record a short video showing:

  • The device’s behavior when the cap is removed (e.g., blinking first LED).
  • Any inability to adjust intensity or mode.
  • The device’s performance during and after charging.

4. Contact Support

Send the video to our support team at support@hoolest.com along with the following details:

  • How long the device holds a charge after full charging.
  • Whether this issue has worsened over time (e.g., a gradual decrease in lifespan).
  • The approximate age of the device (if known).

Our team will review your case and provide guidance on repair, replacement, or warranty service.

5. For Older Devices

Battery degradation can occur in some older units due to regular wear and tear. If this is the case, our support team will assist you with:

  • Warranty Evaluation: If your device is still within the warranty period, repair or replacement may be covered.
  • Post-Warranty Repair: For devices outside of warranty, repairs can be completed for $39 + shipping both ways.

Key Notes

  • Ensure the device is fully charged before testing to rule out improper charging as the cause.
  • If your device is still functional but holds a shorter charge than expected, monitor its lifespan and report the gradual decline to our support team.
