Troubleshooting Guide: Mode Selection Issues on VeRelief Prime

If you’re experiencing issues with mode selection or differentiating between modes and intensity levels on your VeRelief Prime (Gen 3), this guide will help clarify the process and resolve common challenges.


Understanding the Lights on Your VeRelief Prime

  • Solid Lights: Indicate the power/intensity level of stimulation.
  • Blinking Lights: Indicate the mode selection menu.

When you remove the cap, the device will briefly show the battery level (lights illuminate from left to right; the further right, the higher the charge). It will then display one solid light (indicating the lowest power/intensity).


Step-by-Step: Adjusting Power/Intensity

  1. Once the cap is removed and the device powers on, it defaults to the lowest power/intensity level (1 solid light).
  2. To adjust the intensity:
    • Press the plus (+) button to increase intensity.
    • Press the minus (–) button to decrease intensity.
  3. Note: Moving to the next full level of power often requires multiple presses.

Step-by-Step: Adjusting the Mode

  1. Enter the Mode Selection Menu:
    • Press and hold both the plus (+) and minus (–) buttons for 1–2 seconds with equal pressure.
    • You’ll know you’ve entered the mode selection menu when only one LED light blinks.
  2. Adjust the Mode:
    • Press the plus (+) or minus (–) button to navigate through modes.
    • Each blinking LED corresponds to a mode (e.g., LED 1 = Mode 1, LED 2 = Mode 2).
  3. Lock in the Mode:
    • Press and hold both the plus (+) and minus (–) buttons for 1–2 seconds again.
    • You’ll know the mode is locked in when the lights return to solid LED lights, indicating the power/intensity level.

How to Check Your Current Mode

  • Enter the mode selection menu by holding both buttons for 1–2 seconds.
  • The blinking light will indicate the active mode.
  • If you don’t need to change the mode, simply exit by holding both buttons again to return to the power/intensity display.

Common Issues and Solutions

  1. Device Won’t Lock in Mode:

    • Issue: Buttons were pressed for too short a time or one button was released early.
    • Solution: Press and hold both buttons simultaneously for 1–2 full seconds.
  2. Mode Keeps Flashing Instead of Returning to Intensity:

    • Issue: You held the buttons too long.
    • Solution: Release the buttons once you see the mode lock in (solid lights return).
  3. Device Switches Modes Instead of Locking In:

    • Issue: Unequal pressure when holding the buttons.
    • Solution: Apply equal pressure with your thumb on both buttons for 1–2 seconds. Watch for the lights to change as confirmation.
  4. Solid Lights Confused for Modes:

    • Clarification: Solid lights only indicate intensity level. Blinking lights indicate mode selection.
    • Note: If the first LED blinks when the cap is removed and no adjustments work, the device battery is dead. Charge the device.
  5. No Stimulation During Mode Selection:

    • Clarification: The device does not generate stimulation when in mode selection. Stimulation only occurs when solid lights (intensity) are displayed.

VeRelief Reset and Mini

  • The Reset devices look similar to the Prime but do not have multiple modes.
  • This device operate in one default mode. Mode selection does not apply.

Additional Support

  • Watch the lights carefully when adjusting modes—this is the clearest indication of what’s happening. The 1–2 second timing is a helpful guideline, but visual confirmation is key.
