Troubleshooting: Lightbar Issues on VeRelief Prime Gen 3

If you notice uneven lights, a different-colored last light, or difficulty seeing the lightbar on your VeRelief Prime Gen 3, here’s what you need to know.


1. Understanding the 5th Light Color

  • On all Prime Gen 3 devices, the 5th LED light is intentionally programmed to appear yellow/amber.
  • Depending on environmental lighting, some customers may perceive this light as red, yellow, orange, or white. This variation is normal and does not indicate a defect. It was designed to indicate high level of intensity and caution is warranted. 
  • The 5th light will always appear red during:
    • Charging
    • Intensity adjustment
    • Mode selection

2. Dimmer Lightbars in Batch 3 Units

  • Devices from Batch 3 of the Prime Gen 3 feature dimmer LED lightbars.
  • In some lighting conditions, the 5th light may appear faint or be difficult to see entirely. This is particularly noticeable in brighter environments.

Solution: If you cannot see the 5th light:

  1. Move to a darker environment to confirm if the light becomes visible.
  2. Tilt the device slightly downward or away from you to check the visibility of the last light.

If the light remains invisible, even under low light conditions, contact us for a replacement unit with brighter LEDs.


3. Device Functionality and Next Steps

  • If your lightbar issue is related to the programmed behavior or dim LEDs, the device is still functioning as intended.
  • However, if you have ongoing concerns about the usability of your Prime device, you have the following options:
    • Replacement: If brighter LED units are available, we can provide a replacement device.
    • Return Option: Exercise your 60-day return privileges if you are within the eligible timeframe.

4. Suspected Defects

If you suspect the device has a defect:

  1. Provide a video or picture of the issue, clearly showing:
    • The device in a well-lit and dim environment.
    • The light behavior during charging, intensity adjustment, or mode selection.
  2. Contact us at support@hoolest.com to review the issue.

5. Future Device Updates

Future iterations of the VeRelief Prime will no longer feature the 5th LED light, improving clarity and user experience.
