What is Route Protection?

-
How It Works:
If your order is covered by Route Protection and an issue occurs, you can easily file a claim with Route for a quick resolution.
What Happens if I Don’t Purchase Route Protection?
Route Protection is not required, but if you choose not to purchase it, you will be responsible for filing a claim directly with the carrier (e.g., USPS, FedEx, UPS) that handled your shipment.
- Carrier Claims Process:
- File the claim with the shipping carrier.
- Provide the necessary documentation and evidence to support your claim (e.g., tracking information, photos).
- Follow the carrier’s timeline for resolution.
How to Add or Remove Route Protection
-
Adding Route Protection:
Route Protection is automatically added to your cart at checkout. -
Removing Route Protection:
- Uncheck the box next to Route Protection in your cart or at checkout.
- Note: Refreshing or updating your order will re-add Route Protection automatically. You can uncheck the box again to remove it.
Important Notes
- Applies to Physical Items: Route Protection is only applicable to physical items in your cart.
- Customer Responsibility: If Route Protection is not purchased, Hoolest cannot guarantee resolution for lost, stolen, or damaged orders. You will need to rely on the carrier’s claim process for any compensation or replacement.
