The most common side effects of VeRelief, while rare, are skin discomfort during treatment and dizziness.
Skin Discomfort
All electrical nerve stimulation devices come with a risk of discomfort from the treatment because you are applying an electrical energy source to your skin. The VeRelief output is 10x lower in power than what would cause skin damage, so there are no risks to using the device with regard to skin damage.
If you have sensitive skin or are known to be sensitive to electrical stimulation, then VeRelief is likely not a good choice for you.
Dizziness
Dizziness is a sign of low vagal tone and vagus nerve overstimulation. While not dangerous or harmful, it can be an uncomfortable experience.
This does not mean you need to stop using the device, but rather you need to take the "low and slow" approach.
Use the device for a low intensity, where you can barely feel it, for short durations (30s or less) over a period several days or weeks. Then once you are comfortable with the stimulation, you can increase the total treatment time or intensity.
Continue to do this until you can comfortable use the device for 10 minutes at a time.
